The Winchester Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (WAGO) is a professional group of organists, church musicians and music appreciators. Our region includes the Piedmont and Valley regions of Virginia which covers the counties of Loudoun, Clarke, Warren, Frederick, Shenandoah and Fauquier. The city of Winchester is near the geographical center of this region and benefits from being the home of Shenandoah Conservatory and Shenandoah University.
Our chapter holds regular meetings and welcomes all guests and visitors. Our website has specific information about calendar events, recitals and chapter meetings accessed from the toolbar headings. We encourage AGO members from the greater Washington area and the Tri-state region of West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia to become dual members. Our newsletter En Chamade is online.
Our chapter follows the bylaws of the National AGO and embraces its Mission Statement: The mission of the American Guild of Organists is to foster a thriving community of musicians who share their knowledge and inspire passion for the organ. For further information or questions, please contact:
